Lime Plastering
Having worked on Projects for the National Trust, Scottish Heritage and private properties we have a wealth of knowledge working with all types of lime plasters and renders including traditional insulating materials. The lath and plaster combination is the traditional material for both the structure of walls and ceilings. It is still great choice for new walls and ceilings in period, historic and most buildings of a listed status. It is also the favoured choice where cost is less important than specification.
Site Survey
We can give an impartial building conservation assessment of any property regarding likely maintenance and repair costs. Knowing how to maintain and repair a building will save you the homeowner a lot of money in the long term. Once the survey is complete you will receive a detailed survey report outlining our findings and any remedial work that needs attention. This will include expected costs and a list in order of priority.
